Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding the repeated use of bins to reserve parking spaces on my street.
This has been an ongoing problem, and I am extremely frustrated that I have had to complain about the same issue repeatedly. A resident regularly places bins in the parking area to prevent other people from parking there. As a result, I am often unable to park my car even when a parking space is available.
On one occasion, I tried to move the bins so that I could park my car. The resident confronted me and shouted at me for moving them. I do not think it is acceptable that I should have to face confrontation simply because I am trying to use an available parking space.
I would like the council to investigate this matter and take appropriate action to prevent residents from using bins or other objects to claim or reserve public parking spaces.
I would also appreciate it if you could advise me what I should do if this happens again, rather than me having to confront the resident myself. I do not want the situation to escalate or result in further arguments.
Please treat this as a formal complaint and let me know what action will be taken. I would appreciate a written response and confirmation that this issue has been properly recorded.

Yours sincerely
